Freddie Mac’s Business Resource Groups (BRGs) are a powerful tool for cultivating a sense of community and belonging in the workplace. Our employees are encouraged to join and participate in a variety of BRGs, sometimes referred to as employee resource groups, as they have clear benefits to both the organization and its employees.

According to   Forbes, BRGs have been known to drive employee performance, provide opportunities for informal leadership and talent development, and create an open environment for expressing concerns and ideas. Freddie Mac’s voluntary, employee-led BRGs are organized around a uniting factor, such as lifestyle, shared interest or cultural background, and provide opportunities for learning, networking, mentorship, professional development and collaboration.

Today, Freddie Mac is home to   10 BRGs, which serve the dual purpose of strengthening our diverse and inclusive culture while finding innovative ways to address business challenges. Whatever your interests or life experiences, Freddie Mac has a BRG to help you find a sense of “home” at work and feel empowered to make an impact in your career.
